Freire Wilmington is located in downtown Wilmington, on the beautiful Brandywine River banks in the historic Midtown Brandywine neighborhood. Every day our students come to school, they are surrounded by museums, historic landmarks, cultural treasures, and natural beauty.

With school buses that travel throughout New Castle County and the option of free DART passes for students who want them, getting to and from school every day is easy. And our after-school bus routes ensure that no matter where you’re coming from, you can participate fully in school activities.
